Crypto hosting platform Fireblocks is laying off employees following a reorganization, with 21 people affected, accounting for less than 3% of its workforce. Fireblocks said all affected employees received severance packages.
It is reported that Fireblocks has raised approximately US$1.2 billion in total, with investors including Sequoia Capital and Coatue Management. Fireblocks was valued at $8 billion in a January 2022 funding round and acquired Australian blockchain startup BlockFold in 2023 for about $10 million. (Bloomberg)
