Binance to Update Collateral Ratios and Leverage Tiers

According to the announcement from Binance, significant updates are scheduled for the collateral ratios and leverage tiers of various assets under Portfolio Margin and PM Pro. These changes will occur on 2025-10-21 and 2025-10-24, starting at 06:00 (UTC) and are expected to be completed within approximately 30 minutes. The assets affected on 2025-10-21 include PAXG, GALA, VET, GMT, QNT, XTZ, EGLD, FLOW, IOTX, KAVA, and IOTA, with collateral ratios being adjusted downward. For instance, PAXG's collateral ratio will decrease from 80% to 60%, while GALA and VET will see reductions from 60% to 40%. Other assets will experience similar adjustments, reflecting a more conservative approach to collateral management. On 2025-10-24, further adjustments will be made to PM Pro assets, including ORDI, FIL, NOT, GALA, GMT, EGLD, THETA, and XTZ. These changes will involve both rank floor and cap adjustments in USD, as well as collateral ratio modifications. For example, ORDI and FIL will see their collateral ratios adjusted across various rank floors and caps, with the highest tier seeing a reduction from 100% to 95%. Additionally, Binance Futures will update the leverage and margin tiers for several USD-M Perpetual Contracts at 06:30 (UTC) on the same day. This update will affect existing positions, and users are advised to adjust accordingly to avoid potential liquidation. The changes include adjustments to leverage and maintenance margin rates for contracts such as NAORISUSDT, BLESSUSDT, and others. Users are encouraged to monitor their Unified Maintenance Margin Ratio (uniMMR) closely to mitigate risks associated with these updates.
