Convera has partnered with Ripple to use stablecoins for faster cross-border payments across 140 currencies in over 200 countries. The partnership uses a “stablecoin sandwich” model, letting businesses send money quickly without handling crypto directly.

Nium lets businesses issue stablecoin-funded cards that work at Visa and Mastercard. The platform converts stablecoins to fiat and handles compliance and settlement in one system.

Mitsubishi will use JPMorgan’s blockchain to speed up global payments. The network also supports asset tokenisation, showing rising corporate use of blockchain.

OnePay, backed by Walmart, has added over a dozen crypto tokens including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Cardano, Bitcoin Cash, and PAX Gold to its app, aiming to make digital assets easy for everyday customers.

Ripple is testing its RLUSD stablecoin in Singapore’s MAS BLOOM sandbox to automate cross-border trade payments. The pilot with Unloq aims to replace slow manual processes with programmable payments on the XRP Ledger.

In a striking coincidence, Visa and Stripe-backed Tempo both unveiled similar tools that allow users to execute AI-driven payments, signaling that the race to power autonomous “agent commerce” is officially on.

Ripple has partnered with i-payout to enable faster and more transparent cross-border payments into the U.S. and Canada. The integration uses Ripple’s digital asset infrastructure to speed up settlements and support high-volume international payouts.

Mastercard has launched a Crypto Partner Program that brings together more than 85 companies across the digital asset, payments and financial sectors to develop blockchain-based payment solutions. The initiative aims to integrate digital assets with existing payment networks for uses such as cross-border transfers, settlements and business payments.

Ripple is closing in on a key regulatory milestone in Australia as it moves to secure an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) through the acquisition of local payments firm BC Payments Australia, an entity linked to the European Banking Circle Group.

Stripe is exploring the purchase of PayPal or parts of the company, with talks at an early stage and both firms declining to comment. PayPal’s shares rose after the news, while the company faces slower growth, rising competition, and a recent leadership change.
