Rocket Raptor is a meme inspired ERC20 token based off an AI-generated Raptor character called ROCKET. The character was designed after a cute raptor and pays tribute to the Raptor engines that form part of the SpaceX rockets. The project is a non-derivative and original creation, and a community driven project that pays unique attention to holders using AI art.

What makes your project unique?

The project proves to build a long-term narrative and branding via community collaboration and art to inspire web 2 branded products and business via the ownership of ROCKET inspired NFT's. The main emphasis of the project is to build a strong healthy relationship with the community by personalising all long-term holders and giving them a seat at the decision-making table. The project focuses on organic growth, hard work and consistency rather than large scale marketing.

Rocket Raptor launched for trading on July 09, 2023 with 69 billion ROCKET tokens created at genesis. Circa 40% of supply was issue via a Fair launch on Pinksale for Presale and 25% was added to the tokens liquidity on Uniswap. A community marketing wallet holds 7.5% and a centralised exchange wallet holds 7.5%. The remaining tokens include a 10% private sale supply that was raised to set up the Pinksale pool (that included payments for Audits, KYC and a SAFU developer to create the contract and launch the token) and a 10% allocation to the founders. All tokens that were not part of the Presale or initial liquidity was locked away in a Pinksale vault for 30 days from launch of trading.

Rocket Raptor is the brainchild of Ejaz with the support of 3 core members who also form part of the initial founding team. The founders are good friends and currently spread across 3 continents, between South Africa, the UK and the US.

The project was founded around three months ago when the core team members began discussions. The Founder, Ejaz is a Project Manager for an AI consulting firm based in South Africa and has close to a decade of experience in the management consulting industry. The co-founders include Naz, who is currently a Commercial Manager and one of the largest ecommerce companies in Africa, Sebas who is based out of Florida and plies his trade in the finance sector, and Chuck who is based out of London and currently works as a Senior Developer for a technology consulting firm that focusses on large scale commercial projects.

The four began working on this project to build a more inclusive and healthy community that would eventually be a seed for a globally recognised brand that provides goods and services in various web 2 verticals.

The project aims to promote healthy engagement across the community through art and personalised ROCKET characters. Moving forward the project aims to build an OG NFT collection named after, and built in discussion with each individual OG member. This initial collection will form part of the decision-making council. As the brand develops and grows a private entity will be created which will provide the legal framework and branding rights to all those who own a share of the community.

ROCKET will launch on the Uniswap decentralised exchange with the Ethereum pair and will be available for trading on a growing number of exchanges, with both cryptocurrency and stablecoin pairs.
