Solana is deepening its push into the gaming world with the launch of the Solana Game Pass, a free NFT that unlocks early access to new Web3 games and offers crypto rewards.
This digital collectible is part of a broader strategy to boost user engagement on its blockchain network by tapping into the rapidly growing play-to-earn gaming space.
What Is The Solana Game Pass And How Does It Work
The Game Pass is a no-cost NFT that players can mint through Magic Eden, a popular Solana-based NFT marketplace.
Once minted, holders gain exclusive early access to selected games built on the Solana blockchain and can take part in quests via the partner platform GAM3S.GG.
These quests aren’t just for fun—players earn entries into raffles by completing tasks within participating titles.
The prize pool for the ongoing Season 0 campaign exceeds $10,000 and includes Solana ($SOL) tokens, NFTs, and other digital rewards.
More than 30,000 Game Pass NFTs have already been minted since launch.
Solana has confirmed that the Game Pass initiative will continue beyond this initial campaign, with future seasons expected to introduce expanded features and a progression system that rewards consistent players.
Which Games Are Included In Season 0
Season 0 has launched with early access to a wide variety of games across multiple genres.
Featured titles include the space-themed MMO 'Star Atlas', feline-fighter shooter 'Nyan Heroes', move-to-earn fitness app 'Stepn', and RPG-style 'Aurory'.
Other games such as 'DeFi Dungeons', 'MixMob: Racer 1', and the combat-focused 'BR1: Infinite' are also part of the lineup.
Each of these games allows players to interact directly with blockchain mechanics while exploring different play styles—from strategy and racing to shooting and fitness-based gameplay—showcasing the range of experiences available in Solana’s expanding gaming ecosystem.
Future of the Solana Game Pass: What’s Next?
The current campaign will run for four weeks.
After that, all rewards will be distributed to qualifying players.
Looking ahead, Solana has signalled that future seasons may introduce more quests and enhanced gameplay mechanics.
A player progression system is also on the roadmap, aimed at incentivising long-term engagement across seasons.
