Kill Bill Meme
The ongoing public feud between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump has minted a wave of new Solana coins; one of them being the "Kill Big Beautiful Bill" (KBBB) memecoin.
At the heart of this clash is Trump’s controversial “One Big Beautiful Bill,” a piece of legislation that has become a lightning rod for criticism from Musk, who argues it undermines the spending cuts achieved by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
This high-profile spat was quickly picked up by digital asset fanatics, who leverage on this incident as their next earning opportunity.
The KBBB meme coin’s launch was nothing short of explosive. Within just nine hours, the token’s market cap rocketed to $53 million, capturing the attention of traders and meme enthusiasts alike.
After peaking, KBBB retraced 30% to around $37 million, only to bounce back to $38 million as traders continued to pile in.
Crypto fans took the meme to new heights, using AI to replace Uma Thurman’s face with a stylized version of Musk in classic “Kill Bill” posters, directly linking the imagery to the Pump.fun meme coin.
The result was a whirlwind of trading activity, with the token’s top trader reportedly realizing $94,200 in profits and another trader turning a $4,599 investment into nearly $60,000.
This rapid movement underscored how quickly the crypto community can turn political drama into real financial opportunity.
End Of The Trump-Musk Bromance
The roots of this feud stretch back to last year, when Trump invited Musk—the world’s richest man—onto his campaign trail and later appointed him to oversee DOGE, an initiative aimed at drastically reducing U.S. government spending.
After Trump’s inauguration, the Dogecoin logo briefly appeared on the official DOGE government website, further blurring the lines between politics and crypto.
Since its establishment, DOGE claims to have cut $180 billion in government spending. However, critics argue that the initiative’s “wall of receipts” feature contains misleading or inaccurate claims.
Furthermore, public health experts, including mathematician and infectious disease professor Brooke Nichols, have claimed that Musk's government cuts has been done with little regard to the social impact it could have.
For example, DOGE previously announced to cut the USAID . However, experts criticised Musk and DOGE, saying that these cuts could lead to the death of 300,000 innocent lives, with many of them being children.
The Truth Behind The Fall Out
Despite these concerns, Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” passed the House last month, with White House economists projecting it would stimulate economic growth.
However, the Congressional Budget Office estimates the bill could add $2.4 trillion to the national deficit over the next decade, undoing all the progress and hardwork achieved by DOGE.
To this, Musk has been relentless in his criticism, hurling harsh words at the lawmakers who have helped approve the bill for going against their conscience to vote for the passing of the bill.
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
Since then, Musk has continued his social media campaign against the bill, reposting critics, sharing related memes, and arguing that the legislation “defeats all cost savings achieved by the DOGE team.”
Shortly after, Trump snapped back, saying that he is disappointed with Musk as he (Musk) of all people should be the most familiar with the bill and what it is trying to achieve.
Trump also posits that Musk has went crazy after he decided to cut the EV mandate, because before that was announced, Musk had no issues with the bill.
