Bitwise Maintains $200,000 Bitcoin Target for 2025 Amid Market Uncertainty

According to BlockBeats, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan has reaffirmed the company's target price of $200,000 for Bitcoin by 2025. However, Hougan expressed skepticism about Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) reaching new highs this year. In a report to clients, Hougan and Research Director Ryan Rasmussen noted that the prices of crypto assets have been mixed this year. They attributed Bitcoin's record high in May to strong ETF inflows, increasing demand from Bitcoin fund management companies, and the potential establishment of a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the United States. Despite these positive factors, Ethereum and Solana have experienced declines since the beginning of the year, with macroeconomic risks hindering the acceleration of a bull market.
