Strategy Adds Another 34,164 Bitcoin
Strategy acquired 34,164 additional Bitcoin between April 13 and April 19 for approximately $2.54 billion.
The company paid an average price of $74,395 per Bitcoin.
Following the latest purchase, Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings have risen to 815,061 BTC, purchased for a combined $61.56 billion.
Its average acquisition cost across all holdings now stands at $75,527 per Bitcoin.
Third-Largest Bitcoin Purchase in Company History
The latest acquisition is Strategy’s third-largest Bitcoin purchase ever by coin count.
Only two previous purchases in November 2024 were larger:

At current prices near $75,000, Strategy’s Bitcoin position is now roughly at breakeven after previously sitting underwater for much of the year.
STRC Preferred Stock Continues to Drive Purchases
The majority of the latest purchase was funded through sales of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock.
STRC generated approximately $2.18 billion, accounting for about 86% of the total proceeds used for the Bitcoin purchase.
An additional $366 million came from sales of Strategy’s Class A common stock.
Michael Saylor has increasingly relied on STRC as a funding vehicle for Bitcoin accumulation, as investor demand for the high-yield preferred stock remains strong.
STRC Sets New Records
Last week also marked several new milestones for STRC.
On April 13, Strategy sold 11.9 million STRC shares through its at-the-market program, generating more than $1 billion in volume and funding an estimated 7,741 BTC purchase.
The following day, the company sold 14.4 million shares, generating enough proceeds for another estimated 9,364 BTC.
Together, the two days accounted for roughly 17,204 BTC in buying power, representing a 518% increase compared with the prior four-week average.
Strategy Pushes Toward One Million Bitcoin
With 815,061 BTC now under its control, Strategy owns roughly 4% of the total circulating supply of Bitcoin.
The company remains by far the largest public corporate holder of Bitcoin globally and continues to expand its treasury position aggressively despite ongoing market volatility.
