According to PANews, Hong Kong-listed company Moon Inc. (HKEX: 1723) has successfully raised approximately HKD 65.5 million (equivalent to USD 8.8 million) in funding. The financing round was supported by several Bitcoin mining companies and investors through new shares and convertible bonds. Moon Inc. plans to utilize the funds for its Pan-Asian expansion, with initial operations targeting Thailand and South Korea. The company intends to launch prepaid card products that facilitate Bitcoin transactions. By integrating telecommunications prepaid card distribution channels with blockchain technology, users can purchase, store, and transfer Bitcoin without the need for complex wallet setups. Previously, Moon Inc. was acquired by Sora Ventures and UTXO Management and has been recognized by Capital Magazine as one of Hong Kong's top ten innovative enterprises.
