Zhang Rongxuan has been sentenced to six years and 10 months in prison for stealing approximately 1.7 million USDT from a friend's cold wallet. According to NS3.AI, Zhang acquired the victim's apartment access card during a social gathering and used it to enter the unoccupied home, where he photographed the wallet's seed phrase. Zhang later admitted to charges of computer misuse and money laundering. The court noted that adequate restitution had not been made.
