Ethereum leadership finally changed

The Ethereum Foundation recently appointed two co-executive directors: Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stanczak.

The original executive director Aya Miyaguchi was promoted to chairman of the Ethereum Foundation a few days ago.

The Ethereum Foundation did not have a "chairman" before, and the highest person in charge was the executive director. After this adjustment, Miyaguchi is still nominally the highest leader of the Ethereum Foundation.

Many OGs in the community questioned her leadership ability, believing that this change was just "changing soup but not medicine", and failed to completely solve the problems of the foundation's inefficiency or insufficient communication with the community.

Hsiao-Wei Wang worked as a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation for seven years. She has extensive experience in promoting the development of Ethereum core technology and community building, especially playing an important role in the expansion of the Taiwanese community. She is considered to have a deep understanding of the core values ​​of Ethereum and focus on the concepts of decentralization and long-term development.

Another executive director, Tomasz Stanczak, is closely associated with Nethermind (a development team focused on Ethereum infrastructure) and is known for his technical expertise in the Ethereum ecosystem. He has made significant contributions to Ethereum client development and network optimization, and has demonstrated deep insights into technical details and ecosystem development.

Therefore, for this adjustment, researchers and engineers will serve as co-executives.

From the market's reaction, it can be said that this adjustment was not a big deal, and the current Ethereum price has not reacted significantly.
