Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto now the world's 19th richest person?

In a remarkable development, Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto has joined the ranks of the world's richest people. As the value of Bitcoin has soared, Nakamoto's estimated holdings have vaulted him to 19th place on the global rich list. Bitcoin historian Pete Rizzo shared this fact in a recent tweet: "At a Bitcoin price of $90,000, Satoshi Nakamoto is now the 19th richest person in the world."

Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonym of the individual or group that developed Bitcoin, wrote the Bitcoin white paper, and created and deployed the original reference implementation of Bitcoin.

Satoshi Nakamoto is believed to own around a million bitcoins, which have remained untouched since their creation. The value of these holdings has grown significantly as the price of bitcoin has hit new highs. According to a screenshot shared by Rizzo, the value of these bitcoins has reached $90 billion, making Satoshi Nakamoto the 19th richest person in the world.

However, despite recent claims, including a documentary by HBO and statements from certain shady characters, no one knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is. The search for the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has been going on for years, but the answer remains unknown.

Bitcoin broke through $93,000 on Wednesday, setting a new all-time high, and the rise looks like it will not slow down for the time being. In recent weeks, Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, has been one of the most eye-catching market moves, trading at a record high of $93,495 before falling slightly.

As of writing, Bitcoin (BTC) has risen 4.56% in the past 24 hours to $91,311 and is up 22% on the week. This still puts the previous price expectation of $100,000 within reach. According to statistics from Deribit, call option bets on Bitcoin breaking through $100,000 are concentrated. Inflows into US Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) exceeded $1 billion at the beginning of this week.

Although Galaxy Digital CEO Michael Novogratz said that the possibility of the United States establishing a strategic reserve of Bitcoin is low, he pointed out that if such a plan is implemented, the price of Bitcoin could soar to $500,000.
