Arx Research has raised $6.1 million in seed funding, led by Castle Island Ventures.

Hardware and software company Arx Research announced the completion of a $6.1 million seed funding round, led by Castle Island Ventures, with participation from Inflection, Placeholder, Seed Club Ventures, and 1kx, among others. Arx Research co-founder and CEO Cameron Robertson stated that the round was structured as a Simple Future Equity Agreement (SAFE), but did not disclose the funding timeline or post-money valuation. The new funds will support the company's launch of a handheld point-of-sale (POS) device that integrates digital assets with traditional payments.
