On October 21st, according to SoSoValue data, most crypto markets saw gains. Bitcoin (BTC) rose 1.71%, rebounding above $110,000. Ethereum (ETH) rose 0.08%, fluctuating in a narrow range around $3,900. Furthermore, the PayFi sector rose 3.47%. Within the sector, XRP rose 3.92%, and Dash (DASH) surged 11.99%. Notably, MAG7.ssi rose 3.07%, DEFI.ssi rose 5.89%, and MEME.ssi rose 4.17%. Other sectors that performed well included: DeFi, which rose 2.86% in the 24-hour period, with Chainlink (LINK) up 9.43%; the Meme sector, which rose 1.96%, with FLOKI and Useless Coin (USELESS) rising 15.49% and 17.55%, respectively; the Layer 1 sector, which rose 0.41%, with Zcash (ZEC) up 13.36%; and the Layer 2 sector, which rose 0.20%, with Zora (ZORA) up 13.24%. Among other sectors, the AI sector fell 0.22%, but OG rose 16.96%; the CeFi sector fell 0.91%, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) remained relatively resilient, rising 1.23%. The crypto sector index, which reflects historical sector performance, shows that the ssiDeFi, ssiPayFi, and ssiMeme indices rose 3.96%, 3.58%, and 1.87%, respectively.
