Farcaster, a decentralized social media protocol, has announced it has added support for BNB Chain. The project previously integrated Solana and HyperLiquid's HyperEVM, enabling cross-chain balance interactions without a cross-bridge. Farcaster co-founder and former Coinbase executive Dan Romero stated on the X platform that its immediate goals include supporting all major assets and public chains (such as BSC, HyperEVM, Solana, Base, and the Ethereum mainnet), and achieving "instant cross-chain swaps, zero bridging, and extremely low transaction fees." Founded in 2020, Farcaster currently operates on networks including Arbitrum, Base, Gnosis, OP Mainnet, Polygon, Unichain, and Zora, in addition to the Ethereum mainnet. According to data from The Block, BNB recently surged, surpassing XRP to become the third-largest crypto asset by market capitalization, with an increase of approximately 80% over the past three months.
