Michael Bucella and Steve Lee, two alumni of Goldman Sachs and BlockTower Capital, have established a new crypto asset investment company, Neoclassic Capital, which focuses on derivatives, real-world asset tokenization, entertainment, games and social networking.
They said in an interview that they will invest in private and public markets for cryptocurrencies. Since the company was founded in January, it has received investments from venture capitalists Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon and Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik. The company has also received investments from global investors such as Zurich investment advisor L1 Digital AG and SBI Holdings executive Genki Oda. The two currently refuse to disclose the assets under management for confidentiality reasons. (Bloomberg)
