ETHVietnam anonymous MACI voting is officially launched. This is the first time aMACI voting technology has been used in a large-scale encryption event.

ETH Vietnam Hackathon Anonymous MACI (aMACI) voting has officially opened on the global geek sports platform DoraHacks.io. This vote was the first use of aMACI voting technology at a major crypto event. A total of 14 outstanding projects from ETHVietnam BUIDLATHON 2024 were selected to compete for the US$2,000 prize pool. So far, 93 users have registered to vote on MACI. The voting ends at 23:59 on March 18, Beijing time. DoraHacks aMACI technology allows users to change voting keys at will while ensuring that administrators cannot learn the updated keys, allowing MACI to gradually achieve unconditional anonymity. aMACI implements the Ethereum community’s solution of “Anonymous MACI through ElGamal re-random functions” and is an anonymous MACI implementation that does not rely on multi-party security calculations.
