ATOM Economic Zone (AEZ) long-term funding grant has completed the first round of community quadratic voting on the global geek sports platform DoraHacks.io on March 3rd, Beijing time, making direct donations and quadratic matching bonus pools to the Cosmos public goods project distribute. From now on, it will enter a three-day grace period. During the grace period, the platform will conduct closed-source analysis of on-chain donation data to detect Sybil Attacks. The final distribution of the quadratic matching prize pool will be determined by a combination of community funding donations and due diligence results.
A total of 8 Cosmos ecological public goods projects were selected in this round, and 120 Cosmos community members participated in donations, with the total funding amount exceeding US$70,000. After this round of quadratic funding ends, the community can still continue to provide donations to the selected projects, and current donations will affect the distribution of the matching bonus pool in the next round. The AEZ quadratic long-term funding plan aims to support the development of public goods and emerging application chains in the Cosmos ecosystem and help expand the entire Cosmos ecosystem. The funding plan has long-term community donation channels, and the community can fund selected projects at any time; at the same time, quadratic voting and funding will be conducted regularly to provide additional funding for selected projects.
