BNB Chain releases Web3 blueprint: integrating BSC, opBNB and Greenfield through One BNB strategy

According to official news, BNB Chain released its Web3 blueprint. It stated that since its establishment in 2020, BNB Chain’s mission has been to provide the infrastructure needed to usher in the next billion Web3 users. According to reports, the BNB Chain ecosystem consists of three blockchains - BNB Smart Chain (BSC), opBNB and BNB Greenfield. The performance highlights of the three are as follows: - In 2023, BSC is one of the most used L1 blockchains with approximately 1 million DAU. opBNB became the most active L2 blockchain at the end of 2023, and as of 2024, it remains the most used L2 blockchain by DAU. -In 2023, BNB Chain expands into a multi-chain framework with the opBNB L2 solution and Greenfield storage chain. This “One BNB” paradigm solves the computing and storage needs of typical Web3 DApps. -One BNB strategy integrates BSC, opBNB and Greenfield into a cohesive ecosystem, ensuring seamless interaction between decentralized computing and storage. -In 2023, BSC successfully raised its Gas limit to 140M, exceeding Ethereum’s capacity by 4.6 times. At the same time, BSC’s focus in 2024 will shift to state and storage optimization and the implementation of parallel EVM, allowing multiple instructions to be executed simultaneously. -opBNB prioritizes several key areas for ongoing optimization aimed at improving performance and flexibility. The main goal of opBNB is to achieve 10,000 TPS and double the gas limit.
