The U.S. SEC Commissioner refused to disclose the progress of the spot Ethereum ETF application, but said he did not want to face the lengthy court and appeal process.

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Commissioner Hester Peirce declined to disclose the status of spot Ethereum ETF applications in the latest interview, but expressed hope that future crypto ETF applications will not face lengthy court cases and appeals processes. Hester Peirce added: “This is not a U.S. securities exchange. The way the committee approves, it shouldn't require a court to tell us that our approach to getting things done is arbitrary and capricious. I don't want to predict what will happen with any particular exchange-traded product, the facts and circumstances do matter .”
