Odaily Planet Daily News According to Bitcoin Magazine, an unknown project called "Project Spartacus" is trying to convert thousands of Afghan war log records released by Julian Assange's WikiLeaks in 2010 into Bitcoin. The form of the inscription is preserved permanently. The logs caused a huge uproar in the US media and prompted a strong response from the US government. It is worth noting that the content of these logs not only differs from what is presented in mainstream media, but also provides worrying insights into what is actually happening in Afghanistan. In addition, these logs raise questions about the conduct of some US military operations. Project Spartacus's website provides a public interface through which anyone can "log" (meaning add data to Bitcoin) the war logs. There appear to be no fees other than the network fees associated with this operation, which are a required component of any transaction submitted to the Bitcoin network. The page also features a "Donate" button that allows users to optionally send Bitcoin to Assange's cause. Donations are said to be used to support the following organizations: Press Freedom Foundation, the Right to Information Project and Reporters Without Borders.
