Odaily Planet Daily News The developer behind the Meme token FrensTech (FRENS) was accused of conducting Rug Pull to remove liquidity from the project.
According to on-chain expert @UniswapVillain, AzFlin, an early employee of Uniswap, is the developer of FRENS. A few hours after deploying FRENS tokens, AzFlin used the multi-chain bridge HOP to transfer 14 WETH (approximately $25,800) from the Base network, and even sold the tokens raised from the liquidity.
AzFlin admitted to being the developer and deployer of the FRENS token, but denied the Rug Pull allegations. AzFlin claims that the liquidity of the project is locked in from the beginning. He only removed 1 ETH worth of liquidity, which he provided with funds from his developer wallet.
AzFlin admitted that he sold the tokens when the FRENS market cap reached $30,000. But he defended his actions, claiming that the tokens sold were originally purchased by himself to introduce liquidity to the project. According to it, the so-called Rug Pull is nothing more than FUD. (Coinedition)
