Laekna Starts Patient Recruitment For LAE118 Phase I Trial In China

Laekna Medicine (02105) said it has started patient recruitment in China for the Phase I clinical study of LAE118 for the treatment of advanced solid tumours, and has enrolled its first patient, according to ETNet. LAE118 is an internally developed novel PI3Kalpha pan-mutant selective inhibitor. The company said the drug has already received approval for its investigational new drug application from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and China’s Center for Drug Evaluation, and the Phase I study has begun.
