STOCKS | MIRXES-B Delays 2025 Results, Shares Stay Suspended

MIRXES-B (02629) said independent non-executive director Lam Sin Lai resigned for health reasons, effective August 31, and the board appointed Chow Siu Wing as an independent non-executive director, according to ETNet. Chow was also named chairman of the nomination committee, a member of the remuneration committee and co-chairman of the independent investigation committee. After Lam's resignation, the board temporarily has no director of a different gender and does not meet the listing rule requirement for the nomination committee to include at least one director of a different gender. The company said it is seeking a female candidate and expects to complete the appointment within three months. MIRXES-B also said its 2025 annual results will be delayed further because the independent investigation committee needs more time to complete its probe and help resolve outstanding audit matters. As a result, preparation of the 2026 interim results cannot proceed, and the company will not be able to publish interim results by August 31 or send out its interim report by the end of September. The shares have been suspended since April 1 and will remain suspended until the company meets the Stock Exchange's resumption guidance.
