Grayscale has completed its Q1 2026 rebalancing of its cryptocurrency sector funds. The DeFi fund added Ethena token ENA with a weighting of 13.59%, making it the fund's fourth largest holding. Simultaneously, the fund completely removed Aerodrome Finance token AERO. Following the rebalancing, the fund's main holdings consist of: Uniswap (UNI) 35.22%, Aave (AAVE) 21.36%, Ondo Finance (ONDO) 19.83%, Curve DAO (CRV) 5.27%, and Lido DAO (LDO) 4.73%. Furthermore, the smart contract platform fund remained unchanged this quarter. Ethereum (ETH) holdings increased to 30.14%, surpassing Solana (SOL)'s 29.69% to become the largest holding. Cardano (ADA) ranked third with a weighting of 17.96%, followed by Avalanche, Hedera, and Sui. This adjustment is primarily based on the compilation methodology of the CoinDesk DeFi Select Index and the CoinDesk Smart Contract Platform Select Upper Limit Index, aiming to ensure that fund holdings are consistent with liquidity, custody, and market capitalization requirements.
