According to Cryptorank data, 63 funding rounds were completed in April, bringing the total investment since the beginning of 2026 to $5.64 billion. Among the sub-sectors, DeFi protocols were the most active, completing 12 funding rounds, followed by blockchain services and AI-related crypto projects.
