According to the announcement from Binance, the platform will extend its Monitoring Tag to include additional tokens starting on 2026-04-30. The tokens set to be added to this list are NFPrompt Token (NFP), Nomina (NOM), Marlin (POND), QuickSwap (QUICK), and Viction (VIC). Tokens with the Monitoring Tag are characterized by higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens, necessitating close monitoring and regular reviews.
To trade tokens marked with the Monitoring Tag, users must complete a quiz every 90 days on the Binance Spot and/or Binance Margin platforms and accept the Terms of Use. This process ensures that users are aware of the risks associated with trading these tokens. Monitoring Tags can be found on the corresponding Binance Spot and Binance Margin trading pages, as well as on the Markets Overview page. A risk warning banner will also be displayed for all tokens with Monitoring Tags.
Binance will conduct periodic project reviews to determine whether the Monitoring Tag should be added or removed from tokens based on its latest findings. The criteria considered during these reviews include the commitment of the team to the project, the level and quality of development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network stability and safety from attacks, network/smart contract stability, level of public communication, responsiveness to periodic due diligence requests, evidence of unethical or fraudulent conduct, and contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem.
Other services related to the aforementioned tokens will remain unaffected. The Monitoring Tags for these tokens will be updated shortly after the announcement's publication. Binance emphasizes its commitment to transparency and sustainable growth within the crypto ecosystem.
