The Avalanche Foundation has announced the launch of its Call For Research Proposals program, open to academic researchers worldwide. Each grant offers up to $50,000 and will primarily support research related to Avalanche network economics, focusing on two core areas: first, crypto asset pricing and valuation, with a focus on how native assets on PoS public chains accumulate value, including token issuance mechanisms, monetary policy, and the relationship between network adoption and long-term value; and second, validator economics and cybersecurity, with a focus on issues such as the highest staking ratio, validator reward models, validator pool health, and non-inflationary reward mechanisms.
