The Iranian Students' News Agency reported that Ibrahim Aziz, chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated today that Israeli oil tankers are prohibited from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. He explicitly stated, "Israeli oil tankers are absolutely prohibited from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Ships and cargo associated with the Zionist regime, whether military or civilian, are prohibited from passing through the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz." He also pointed out that other countries hostile to the Islamic Republic of Iran are similarly prohibited from passing through the strait. He added, "Hostile countries, as well as countries that cooperate with these countries and endanger Iran's security, have no right to pass through the Strait of Hormuz." (Jin Shi)
