CZ stated in an article on the X platform that cryptocurrencies only need to upgrade to quantum-resistant (post-quantum) algorithms to cope with the effects of quantum computing, and there is no need to panic. In practical terms, upgrading organizations face difficulties in decentralized environments, and the choice of algorithm may lead to disputes and forks. Some projects that have ceased development may not upgrade, which helps to clean up such projects. New code may introduce vulnerabilities or security issues in the short term, and users who hold their cryptocurrencies themselves should migrate their assets to new wallets. Regarding Satoshi's Bitcoin holdings, if the assets have moved, it means they are still active; if they have not moved within a certain period, the relevant addresses should be locked or destroyed to prevent hacking. Fundamentally, encryption is easier than decryption, and stronger computing power is a positive factor; cryptocurrencies will continue to exist after the quantum era.
