According to RTHK, the Iranian Islamic Republic News Agency reported that Pezeh Kiziyan discussed regional and international situations with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar during a phone call, following attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran.
Pezeh Kiziyan stated that Iran's actions against U.S. military bases in the Middle East were a justified response to aggression. He stressed that Islamic nations should not allow enemies to exploit opportunities to create division and conflict in the region. He pointed out that accusations regarding Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons serve as an excuse for "illegal and inhumane aggression" against Iran.
Iran is committed to achieving regional security and stability and hopes to overcome the disasters caused by enemy attempts with the help of Islamic countries. The report also mentioned that Anwar emphasized Malaysia's opposition to and condemnation of any actions that violate Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He highlighted the importance of continued diplomatic efforts by Islamic nations to achieve regional stability and security.
