Gold and silver rose, while cryptocurrency volatility fell, with both the BVIX and EVIX dropping by more than 7%.

In the foreign exchange market, the USD/CNH exchange rate fell 0.20% to 6.87629. The USD/JPY exchange rate rose 0.04% to 157.716. In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.52% to 5,815.83 points; the UK FTSE 100 rose 0.68% to 10,400.86 points; and the German DAX 40 rose 0.66% to 23,951.57 points. In commodities, WTI crude oil rose 3.64% to $87.69 per barrel, and Brent crude oil rose 3.12% to $91.27 per barrel.
