During a press conference in Cyprus, Macron stated that France's military presence in the Middle East would include eight frigates, two amphibious assault ships, and the aircraft carrier 'Charles de Gaulle' to address regional security concerns. He confirmed that the 'Charles de Gaulle' and its carrier strike group are currently deployed near Cyprus.
