Tether to Propose Board Candidates at Juventus Shareholder Meeting

According to BlockBeats, Tether plans to submit its own list of board candidates at the upcoming annual shareholder meeting of Italian football club Juventus. Tether currently holds a 10.7% stake in Juventus, making it the club's second-largest shareholder after Exor, the investment company of the Agnelli family, which holds 65%. The annual shareholder meeting is scheduled for November 7, where voting on the board's re-election will take place. Tether also intends to propose some "governance structure adjustments" during the meeting, although specific details have not been disclosed. Additionally, Tether announced its intention to participate in Juventus's board-proposed capital increase plan, which could reach up to 110 million euros (approximately 129 million dollars). Exor has already contributed nearly 30 million euros to this capital increase.
