Kyobo Life Insurance and Ripple have transitioned their government bond token trading proof-of-concept to a live testnet, marking a significant step in their collaborative project. According to NS3.AI, since their partnership began last September, the companies have been examining the South Korean regulatory landscape and exploring technical models, including stablecoin settlement and bond tokens. This month, the initiative has moved into a practical phase utilizing Ripple's institutional blockchain infrastructure to assess the feasibility of trading government bonds on-chain as digital tokens.
