Rob Hayes

Venture Partner of First Round Capital

Rob Hayes is a Venture Partner at First Round Capital. He has been with the firm since 2006, leading investments in companies such as Uber, Mint.com, Planet Labs, Eero, TaskRabbit, and Square. Prior to joining First Round Capital, Rob held senior positions at Omidyar Network, PalmSource, and Palm, Inc. He started his career with the Japan External Trade Organization, researching international trade and fostering connections between US and Japanese businesses. Rob has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
