Daniel Reynaud

Daniel Reynaud is a Research Engineering Partner at a16z crypto, where he collaborates with the research team and supports portfolio companies with their protocol design. He specializes in smart contract development, testing and optimization. Prior to joining a16z, Daniel worked on smart contracts at Showtime, distributed systems at Netflix and compilers at Apple. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from a French university where he focused on applying formal methods to low-level program analysis.
