Now that we have run several meetups, we are starting to understand why our meetups are so popular and unique.
WEB3WED IS A WELCOMING AND INCLUSIVE EVENT. Everybody brings their smiles and their web3 collaborative energy.
WE HAVE CURIOUS WEB2ERS ALL THE UP TO OGS. All coming together each month to network, forge connections and explore collaborations.
MAGIC HAPPENS. In six meetups, we have already seen deals being discussed, people getting jobs as a result, and so many friendships formed.
YOU BELONG HERE. We have founders, creators, programmers, marketers, investors, traders, professionals, academics, community builders. At all stages.
What happens at a WEB3WED meetup?
When you arrive at registration, you will get a nametag with a colour dot to represent who you are eg. founder, professional, creator... This will help with your networking.
We have a POAP station where you can mint your POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol), which is an NFT that we have designed to remember the night. You will need an ETH compatible wallet (like MetaMaskhttps://metamask.io) and to have downloaded the POAP app prior to arrival if you want the POAP. https://poap.xyz
Our events at Projector X Cathay are Buy-Your-Own food and drinks if you want to. They have a great bar with options.
Guests start arriving from 6:30pm and immediately jump into conversations. If you don't know anybody, we will help introduce you to people, don't worry.
At 7:30pm, the WEB3WED Committee does a short 5 minute welcome and it's straight back into the networking. The event does not hard stop at 8:30pm. Many people stay on and mingle.
