Forbes magazine created a 'Hall of Shame' list yesterday (the 29th), which includes ten individuals previously featured in their "30 Under 30" list but later engaged in misconduct. Among them, FTX co-founder SBF tops the list, and Caroline Ellison, former CEO of Alameda Research, is also included.

Forbes stated on the X platform,

"Many Under 30 alumni have gone on to become tech titans, CEOs, and even billionaires. A few have turned out to be duds, or far worse."

Sam Bankman-Fried

FTX's co-founder faced bankruptcy due to excessive ties between FTX and Alameda. They were accused of using customer funds to purchase luxury items and properties, resulting in a conviction on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy.

Caroline Ellison

Sam Bankman-Fried’s ex-girlfriend, former CEO of Alameda Research. Ellison testified against him after pleading guilty to seven offenses. She was in the Forbes finance class in 2022, but she is also in the Hall of Shame this year.

How Make in the List

To be selected for the 'Forbes 30 Under 30' list, individuals must complete online nominations on the official website. Applicants can either self-nominate or nominate others.

Candidates must be under 30 years old and have achievements in at least one of the specified 20 categories. Each category has different requirements.

For instance, in business and technology categories, applicants must be entrepreneurs under the age of 29, owning and operating a profitable company that has been registered and operational for more than two years.
