Crypto Influencer BitBoy Arrested Again Amid Growing List of Legal Troubles

Ben Armstrong, widely known in crypto circles as “BitBoy,” was arrested once again late last month in Georgia, marking another chapter in his ongoing legal saga.

The 41-year-old influencer was taken into custody in the early hours of 27 June in Cherokee County and charged with six counts related to harassing phone calls.

Public jail booking records obtained via the VINE network confirm the arrest, while a mugshot was later published by The Georgia Gazette.

Armstrong was released the next day on 28 June after posting bail.

He has not yet issued any public statement regarding the charges.

This isn’t Armstrong’s first brush with the law in recent months.

Back in March, he was arrested in Volusia County, Florida, in connection with a fugitive warrant stemming from allegations that he had sent threatening emails to a judge.

In September 2023, he live-streamed himself outside the home of a former business partner, alleging the individual had stolen his Lamborghini.

As his promotional activities came under fire, Armstrong also found himself entangled in civil disputes.

He previously filed a defamation suit against content creator Atozy, but later withdrew it after public backlash.
