Gonka Network has officially launched a multi-million Gonka token incentive program to reward developers who contribute to network performance, security, and infrastructure development. All incentives will be decided through on-chain voting via host nodes, ensuring transparency and community governance. The program covers three main areas: Core Technology Breakthroughs: Rewards of up to 300,000 Gonka tokens for key technologies such as confidential computing; Infrastructure Optimization: Rewards starting at 40,000 Gonka tokens for tasks including cross-chain bridging and EVM compatibility; Ecosystem Security Maintenance: A bug bounty pool of up to 500,000 Gonka tokens, supporting anonymous submissions. Official data shows that Gonka Network's computing power has increased 16-fold in the past two months, with plans to integrate 100,000 high-end GPUs. The project adopts a community-driven model, aiming to build decentralized AI computing infrastructure. Gonka was incubated by the US AI developer Product Science Inc. Founded by the Libermans siblings, Web 2 industry veterans and former core product directors at Snap Inc., the company successfully raised $18 million in funding in 2023. Investors included Coatue Management (an investor in OpenAI), Slow Ventures (an investor in Solana), K5, and partners at Insight and Benchmark. Early contributors to the project included well-known companies in the Web 2-Web 3 space such as 6blocks, Hard Yaka, Gcore, and Bitfury.
