Montenegrin prosecutor Haris Šabotić said the arrest of Do Kwon was not triggered by an Interpol red notice, but border guards' doubts about the legitimacy of his passport, DL News reported. Haris Šabotić's job with Chief Prosecutor Duško Milanović was to formally charge Do Kwon and his accomplice Han Chang-joon with using false documents. The investigation is expected to be completed by the statutory deadline of April 23, and Do Kwon and his accomplice Han Chang-joon will stand trial in Podgorica's lower court once formal charges are filed by prosecutors. If convicted, they face up to five years in prison. The judge has ruled that the pair can be detained until April 23 while the prosecution gathers enough evidence. According to Haris Šabotić, “We are only concerned with accusing him of using forged documents. How they get them or where they get them is a matter for the police. If we do not obtain enough evidence, criminal charges against this will be dismissed and Po High Court in Dgorica so that they can take up the case (because of the Interpol warrant) ".
