A report released by quantum security company Project Eleven states that the "Q-Day," a breakthrough in encryption systems achieved through quantum computing, could occur as early as 2030, with a higher probability around 2033. The report points out that quantum capabilities may emerge as a "non-linear leap" rather than a gradual evolution, potentially resulting in a situation of "long periods of stagnation followed by a sudden breakthrough." In extreme cases, approximately 6.9 million Bitcoins (worth over $560 billion) could be at risk. Currently, the industry has begun exploring solutions including timestamping proofs and forced migrations.
