On-chain analyst Specter published an article on the X platform stating that Andrew Tate's (@Cobratate) associated wallet deposited $30 million into Railgun over the past two years and was involved in a $5 million "pig butchering" scam. A screenshot of a private message posted by Andrew Tate on June 9, 2024, shows him refusing to promote tokens, but the wallet address (0x9B67) in the screenshot appears to belong to him. This address (0x9B67) transferred $4 to his public wallet on December 14, 2024, and interacted multiple times with another associated wallet (0x730C). The funds were then exchanged and deposited into Hyperliquid for trading. Texas court documents from March 2025 show that a wallet involved in the "pig butchering" scam transferred $1.2 million to Andrew Tate's associated wallet (0x9B67) and $8 million to another wallet (0x4A767). Furthermore, of the $30 million deposited into Railgun by Andrew Tate's associated wallet, the majority originated from the crypto payment platform RadomPay (@RadomPay). Although Andrew Tate was not named as a defendant in the case, the flow of funds in his associated wallet (0x89Ea) exhibits characteristics of money laundering. Andrew Tate was previously charged in 2023 with human trafficking, money laundering, and organized crime.
