About FIS

StaFi is the first DeFi protocol unlocking liquidity of staked assets. Users can stake PoS tokens through StaFi and receive rTokens in return, which are available for trading, while still earning staking rewards. rToken is a synthetic staking derivative issued by StaFi to users when users stake PoS tokens through StaFi rToken App . rTokens are anchored to the PoS tokens staked by users and the corresponding staking rewards. rTokens can be transferred and traded at any time.

블록웍스에 따르면, 암호화폐 유동성 스테이킹 플랫폼 스타파이(FIS)가 스타파이 2.0 리브랜딩 및 메인넷 출시에 앞서 '서비스형 리퀴드 스테이킹'(Liquid Stake as a Service, LSAAS) 테스트넷을 출시할 예정이다. LSAAS는 스테이킹 자산을 나타내는 신규 토큰을 발행, 유동성을 제공하는 블록체인 플랫폼을 의미한다. 해당 토큰을 통해 사용자는 디파이 프로토콜에서 추가 수익을 창출할 수 있다. 스타파이는 올 2분기 테스트넷에서 유동성 리스테이킹 토큰을 출시할 예정이며, 3분기 메인넷을 출시할 계획이다.

Fireblocks Hires New Chief Marketing Officer Amid Executive Team Expansion
According to CoinDesk, cryptocurrency custody specialist Fireblocks has hired Michal Ferguson as its new chief marketing officer. Ferguson, who previously worked at cybersecurity platform Snyk, joins the company as it prepares for an influx of retail and institutional customers in the coming year. The appointment follows other key additions to Fireblocks' executive team, including Michael Levine from Payoneer as CFO and Madan Gadde, formerly of FIS, as Chief Customer Officer. Fireblocks CEO Michael Shaulov said the firm has been making significant hires over the past 12 months in anticipation of a return to a strong growth trajectory in the crypto market. While the company is well-funded and has no immediate plans to go public, Shaulov noted that they will be closely watching other crypto firms looking to list in the U.S. He added that an IPO could be a possibility for Fireblocks in two or three years.

StaFi Announces Upgrade and Rebranding Plan 'StaFi 2.0'
According to Foresight News, liquidity staking protocol StaFi has released an upgrade and rebranding plan called 'StaFi 2.0'. In terms of positioning, StaFi will transition from a multi-chain LSD protocol to an LSD Infra Layer, with a corresponding brand upgrade. In token economics, FIS will introduce a burning mechanism and add new utilities. In terms of security, it will support contract layer security on top of existing chain security, including support for multiple virtual machines such as EVM and WASM and frameworks. StaFi stated that the rebranding will be carried out in phases, with the first phase starting in the first quarter of 2024. Its native token FIS will be renamed, and the new name will be announced later.
