Launching on Feb 17th, 2023, DOPE is building the link between web3 and extreme sports by supporting athletes in their pursuit of greatness. Through regular financial contributions, DOPE will support up and coming athletes that don’t have the same exposure and opportunity as some of their more well-known counterparts, as the majority of extreme sport athletes receive little to no compensation to pursue their craft. In addition, DOPE will launch an Athlete Creator Marketplace, a platform that's designed to allow athletes to monetize their brands through the sale of limited edition content and merch. Holders of DOPE will benefit through a revshare model of the platform. In the future, the DOPE brand will host large-scale extreme sports events, similar to X-Games but with a focus on more athlete participation. The DOPE Access Pass which will grant exclusive access to DOPE's marketplace featuring extreme sports event passes, memorabilia, exclusive merch - and more.
