HOOP is a governance token launched by parent company ChibiDinos Ltd, whose co-founder is Sean Kelly and CEO is Jeremy Lindblad.

Sean Kelly is an entrepreneur based in Las Vegas who has successfully run a number of startups. His first million-dollar business, Jersey Champs, sold Basketball jerseys featuring rap artists and was wildly successful. He quickly moved into the NFT space, launching the Chibi Dinos NFT project, which sold out in under 18 minutes. He’s continued to work alongside the Chibi Dinos project and has since built up an NFT marketing company called NFT Gorillas, which was acquired by Infinite World in 2022.

Jeremy Lindblad has extensive experience in business development and startup ventures. Most recently he was head of global business development at Lindblad Expeditions, where he expanded on their market offerings and engaged with National Geographic to create unique joint expeditions that were previously inaccessible to the public. He has also worked for Bloomberg Ventures where he has developed long standing relationships with some of the greatest investors of our time.

HOOP aims to balance governance and utility — the main value drivers for any in-game token.

From its inception, Chibi Dinos has sought to develop a rich set of utility and a way to democratically regulate the metaverse they’re building. To that end, HOOP has been designed to both provide investors with a way to vote on important issues that concern the Chibi Dinos metaverse, while also providing those holders with real value and a constantly growing utility. Not only will HOOP holders have the opportunity to stake their tokens, use them to vote on decisions (such as rewards structures or additional game levels), unlock exclusive in-game content (like legendary league tournaments), be eligible for airdrops, and have access to real world perks, but they will also be able to use this token to buy and sell luxury Chibi Dinos NFTs that cannot normally be purchased by the typical in-game reward currency in the Chibi Dinos metaverse.
