According to CoinDesk, gaming-focused layer-1 blockchain Worldwide Asset Exchange (WAX) has signed a deal to use Amazon Web Services (AWS) and integrate its network into the Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) service. The AMB service is designed to assist developers in building decentralized apps (dapps) on both private and public blockchains. By integrating into AMB, WAX developers will be able to deploy nodes through the AWS console and use those nodes to build on the WAX blockchain. The platform's native WAX token has risen by more than 20% over the past 24 hours. WAX is the 10th largest blockchain in terms of activity. WAX CTO Lukas Sliwka said in a statement, “The new partnership between WAX and Amazon Web Services is a major next step on our journey to the mass adoption of Web3." Over the past 30 days, WAX has facilitated 141 million transactions with 666,000 unique active wallets, according to data from Dappradar. The network hosts 160 Web3 games on its platform, including Brawlers, a trading card game that became a part of the Amazon Prime Gaming service alongside the likes of Apex Legends and Call of Duty.

AirDAO issued a document on the AirDAO stated that the hacking attack only affected the AMB/ETH liquidity pool wallets created by AirDAO. Treasury funds and community funds are safe. The AirDAO blockchain and the AMB held by all community members on the exchange are not affected by Impact, AirDAO Treasury is held in a multi-signature wallet that requires seven of nine signatures before transactions can be made. AirDAO stated that it will strengthen security measures and implement an encryption incident response plan. If the hacker returns the funds immediately, AirDAO will pay 10% of the white hat hacker fee. If there is no cooperation, AirDAO will continue to take law enforcement measures.

According to Paidun monitoring, AirDAO reported that it was hacked, resulting in the loss of 126.5 ETH and 41.61 million AMB. Hackers have moved stolen funds to MEXC, ChangeNOW, and KuCoin. Earlier today, AirDAO issued a statement stating that 35.2 million AMB tokens and 125.51 ETH were stolen from the AMB/ETH Uniswap pool, and the team is working with exchanges and relevant departments to recover the stolen funds. In addition, officials have contacted the exchanges used to track and freeze the stolen funds. Additional liquidity will be added back to Uniswap LP as soon as possible and the situation has been alleviated.

According to Foresight News, decentralized autonomous organization AirDAO, which manages Layer 1 network Ambrosius, announced that 35.2 million AMB tokens and 125.51 ETH were stolen from its AMB/ETH Uniswap pool. The hacker gained access to the LP through a social engineering scam, sending an email with a malicious attachment while posing as a known partner of AirDAO. The team is currently working with exchanges and relevant institutions to identify the hacker and recover the stolen funds. AirDAO has offered to pay 10% of the recovered funds as a white hat hacker fee if the funds are returned immediately.
