September Core PCE Expected to Rise, Aligning with Core CPI

According to BlockBeats, Wall Street Journal reporter Nick Timiraos, known as the 'Fed Whisperer,' shared insights on social media regarding the anticipated rise in September's core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE). Following the release of September's Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Producer Price Index (PPI) data, the core PCE is expected to increase by approximately 0.22%, closely aligning with the core CPI level for the same month. Should the increase fall below this level, the year-over-year inflation rate for 12 months could decrease from 2.9% in August to 2.8%.
