Bitwise CEO Highlights Bitcoin's Potential as a Superior Store of Value

According to PANews, Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley has emphasized the need for a significant influx of new buyers to maintain or increase gold prices. In 2024, the gold mining output is projected to be approximately 3,660 tons, with an additional 1,370 tons expected from recycling, amounting to a total market absorption requirement of around $680 billion. In contrast, the annual new supply of Bitcoin is about 164,000 coins, with a total value of approximately $2.4 billion. Horsley suggests that Bitcoin may serve as a better store of value compared to gold.
